Statistics & Control, Inc., (S&C) is a full-service automation controls engineering company based in West Des Moines, Iowa. OptiRamp Advanced Dispatch Control System (ADCS) is a model-based, real-time control system that combines industry-leading advanced process control with the latest enterprise information and integration technologies. S&C designed it to dramatically reduce integration costs and to optimize overall process performance. ADCS is a suite of modules for process modeling, conceptual design, simulation, closed-loop optimization, financial validation, scheduling, and performance monitoring. OptiRamp can operate in advisory or closed-loop control mode at the unit, station, and enterprise levels.
